What's new in the world of 45015? Here's where to find out...
| January 2008 | An announcement from the D14LA: "Things have moved on a lot since the last posts about 45 015. The new home has now been decided for D14 45 015 and the loco will be relocating to this site. It was decided that to avoid a continual stream of questions, people turning up at the site unannounced, accosting staff, phone calls to the site, etc. (it has happened at other railways previously) the location will remain confidential for the time being. This is just to make life as easy as possible for all those involved in the next stage. Sadly from previous events, the minority spoil it for the rest. Please bear with the Association at this time. Thank you." |

| 14 October 2007 | Two new pages uploaded - the restoration plan for the loco, and responses to some frequently asked questions. |
|
| 16 August 2007 | Developments on the issue of moving the loco: If the loco is moved before 14th September (i.e. about 4 weeks), the shunting etc will cost the appeal £400. If this is not possible, the cost will increase, though it is not know to what extent. The urgency of the appeal cannot be understated - we have less than 4 weeks to move the loco. Your support will be most gratefully recieved... |
Appeal |
| July/ August 2007 | A group of ne'er-do-wells from the Preserved Diesels forum and elsewhere band together to attempt to give 45015 a new lease of life, after it's last restoration attempt stagnated. An appeal is launched to move the loco to a new site where restoration can begin in earnest. Shortly after this, a website is launched to promote said appeal. |
